Information

The Florida Everglades is a national treasure and we are excited to share Floridas most remarkable treasure. Feeling the wind and excitement as you glide along miles of river with speeds up to 40 mph!

One of the most beautiful aspects of this experience is learning about native wildlife and getting up close and personal with the many unique species found in this fragile environment.

Your airboat experience lasts for  30 minutes and following your boat ride, you are your family will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit areas featuring reptiles that have been adopted and rescued.  There is so much to experience including a dozen fun and educational presentations daily!

Some of the exhibits include the Reptile Exhibit, see the prehistoric magnificence of an original dinosaur, the Florida Alligator! More exhibits and dining options await including the Glades Exhibit educational theater.  Kids love to learn about and enjoy seeing more reptiles such as Tortoises, iguanas, and more.

More fun is available as you mine for sharks teeth and gemstones at the Sawgrass Mining Co.

A full array of dining options include The Gator Grill with options such as Gator Bites, tacos, burgers, and a special kids meal, with additional options at the onsite food truck.  For those guests with a sweet tooth treat yourself to the Sweet Tooth Cafe serving up Swamp Sundaes, fresh-made lemonade, fruit smoothies, funnel snakes, etc.

Sawgrass Recreation Park is a true gem, and the experience will leave you with wonderful memories for the whole family!
